you need a 32mm spanner, I took mine off to replace water pump also but have left it off. I also fittted a/c fan with fan switch. This rarely comes on, even when towing 3t trailer, unless in a long traffic queue. So there's no need for fan & you may get better mpg

what year is it? if 96 or more then start eka entry with 4turns to the left. If it's a 95 just do the eka starting with right turns. Baffled me for a while! mines a 95

I got to fiddle with the settings via faultmate today. I set the std ones just higher than the motorway setting. I had to clear a fault that arose as a result. On a test drive it feels good, somewhat softer, did the trick thanks. mg
