hi my 2000 td5 90 struggles to start when hot, sometimes the starter motor wont even turnover. but when it is stone cold just let it preheat and start on the button. the water in fuel light is on im going to service it next sunday to sort that but just wondered if that would have anything to do...

bonjour all just got round to fitting the cb into the defender. what is the normal channel that everybody uses. mine has a uk and eu mode with 40 channels each. can anybody shed any light tah:clap2:

yeh sorry i kow there still launching a new design but i don't think it will look anything like the dc100. and yeh i wouldn't mind tyre spikes as well lol

well i think the dc100 may have been scrapped. i haven't heard anything about it other than it going very quite in LRO. and to be honest i hope they do scrap it. and spiked tyres would be FECKING expensive imagine the electronics in them

will a td5 dash fit onto a 200tdi bulkhead without mayjor mods. theres one on ebay so might think about it if it does

well the output shaft wasnt completely gone just chewed up to hell. and i wouldnt be able to change input gear when out put shaft is chewed. and a mate of mine breaks landys so got t and g box cheap

thats what exactly happened to my defender. passed the MOT driving home lost all drive. put diiflock in and drove fine. anyway dropped t box out and found output shaft on g box was knackered. so ended up with new g box and t boxx aswell as a new front axle. all fun with landrovers

rite just bled the cluth at the slave cylinder. theres no more air coming out of the nipple but the clutch pedal still seems spongy. the clutch is working fine but its just a lot softer than before:confused:
