right sorted out the UJ's today. whilst I had it in the workshop I though id adjust the handbrake.. well picked the back end up turned the back wheel and heard a rather nasty grinding noise.. anyway bearings fooked.. and the problem no where is open on a weekend and I need to drive 25 mins to...

right ive searched all over this forum to try and find out if p38 seats will fit or not some say yes some no.. right so here's the question I have a 90 pick up and im 6 foot will they fit and if they do will I still fit. tahhhh:blabla:

no it wasnt. the bloke i bought it from was a security window fitter. and before that it was on a estate and serviced regualar... if thats what you call serviced

truueee. i phoned him earlier and said where did you get it serviced. and he just mumbled out some name that i couldnt find on internet. he probally knew i would of given him an earfull if he said he done it

right a couple of weeks ago i serviced my td5 defender that i just bought. every nut i had to undo was rounded off. sump plug had been done up that tight i had to weld one of my sockets to it to get it off. centrifugal filter housing both bolts rounded. then today i replaced my starter motor...

dont quote me but i think e mark has nothing to do with the car its the lights. all new lights that are legal are e marked.

or if you wanted to do it properly properly wire it into a relay

if you want the led halo thing to come on with sidelights. wire the live (red one) into the live of your sidelights and the earth (black) onto the body. and with the main bulb just wire normally. hope that helps

Right fitted new viscous fan today and noise is still there. Is there another bearing on the shaft the fan sits on ????

problem solved all seize up ordered new one

interesting. but it cant be that either havnt got any speakers yet haha. i think it might be a warped exhaust manifold

hi pulled off the motorway yesterday in my 2000 td5 defender after about 20 mins of motorway driving. pulled out of the junction with a loud whooshing noise coming from the engine bay. it does it when you rev the engine so nothing to do with the drive train. it sounds like its the fan turning...

anyone HELP
