Can the custom blokes detect kero in your fuel tank? don't know if it is true but they say that if you have ever used red diesel in your tank they can still find traces 10 years later.Hence the question about kero. Here in holland the bastards are allways doing checks to see if yer been useing...

The indicator problem sounds like a earthing problem, check for corrosion around and in the lamp, also check the lamp itself. Good Luck with the gearbox.

Very true, but i work on aeroplanes, so you only want the best for your defender or not. I would have got the bolts from work only we don't have 8mm x 85mm. Great pity. If you can get the best why put up with the rest ???? You only live once.
