Can the light on your dash stay on even if you disengage diff lock and reverse at least a mile to get it off.

It's a Discovery not a race car, but all the above work fine, try changing the fuel injection ratio etc that should help.

I also have the same problem with my vacuum pump and it is not possible to change it without setting the engine im afraid.

Hi, when i first got my disco i had this problem in the middle of an idustrial estate so, i have no idea how to sort it but i just unset it with the key fob then binned it so now i don't you'se the fob all manual work with key now im afraid.

Hi, You only notice a difference if your EGR valve is broke, regarding increased fuel consuption id have to disagree with that as i am getting more mpg with mine done, not you don't need to mention it to your insurance as most garages do it if your vavle breaks.

As im going to make my own snorkel how has anyone whos made one attached it to the door pillar etc any pics would be a gr8 help.

This is probably a really silly question but can you bypas the air filter box and join the snorkel onto the engine directly.

The new bulbs from halfords are road legal and are all safety marked etc.

Hi, have you tried the the new xenon bulbs fae halfords there 90% better i put them in my 300tdi and they made a difference. Make sure there alligned correctly aswell ud b amazed at how much better they can be if alligned correctly. Hope that helps.

Hi 300tdi engine is a 2.5 aswell.

Hi, My disco has had the egr removed and i'v just de-cat her and it is good gives you a bit more power and does not trigger any warning lights or that, hope that helps, i'v got a 300tdi manual.
