Wow, nice defender, bet you're chuffed to bits. How much were those headlights (if you dont mind me asking) and how effective are they?

nice idea but a bit dificult when they're banging on your front door :p

I'll make sure no one video's me if I try and pull them out, also if they have AA or similar I think I'll just get them to wait for them as its a local chap who will get paid for it.

lol, I would definatly charge extra for trying that :D will just have to hope they apreciate the help, in a typical week (in the summer) at least 2 cars get stuck parking for the beach...or I could get a cammo net for the defender :D

I'm moving up to scotland next year, our house is in a dead end road and a lot of people get stuck trying to park on the edge of a ditch, with a big Defender parked in the drive I think we'll get a lot of knocks asking for a tow out...I'm sure this will **** me off after a while, do people...

I've got a leak that looks like its coming from the union for the oil feed to the turbo. Am I right in thinking I might cure this by removing and replacing the copper washers? If so where can I get replacement washers (I've got a box of halfords copper washers which might contain the right ones)...

There are some great designs that have come out ot Britain, they usualy need a little tlc but get under your skin in a special kinda way... I've got 2, they couldn't be more differant but at the same time very similar :-)

should be picking up a 1999 110 csw TD5 in a week or so...its my first land Rover so I probably have a lot of stupid questions to ask :D
