    Gearbox Fault Light..

I would have thought a 40mile drive would charge enough to not throw up faults Mine can recharge enough to not throw up faults in 2 or 3 miles. Id be more interested in if the gearbox ecu got wet or if a short in the becm when it was wet could have damaged it

Omg I thought mine looked rough when they came off but there was no cord showing! Your lucky it didnt go bang Its never happened to me but im guessing its alot like a tyre blow out which is a interesting experience in a 2 tonne car with a high centre of gravity

    Air suspension stopped working

By driving it you risk fecking the motor in the pump If your going to replace the entire pump then go for it but if you want to reseal it then I wouldn't However if it cant get to hight it will eventually go into eas fault and shut down And unless you have a data lead or eas kicker you will not...

    Wading and air intake position

hope whatever was in the back of that was water proof

    Wading and air intake position

Yea the pressure of the water on the outside would hold it closed

    EAS Kicker

Shame your not closer I have a working eas data lead and lap top could have substituted your parts one by one to get you working Edit: reread you have a new laptop? What windows is it running? Eas suite dont like win8 but old used laptops are cheep on eBay Some are like £20 cheep
  14. gfromleeds

ARGH! What do I look for?

Pics please The diesel is better in my opinion Yes its slower but has less problems and cheeper to run Add a powerbox and it'll change into a different beast, giving the v8 boys a run for ther money but beware of flooring it from standing cos it'll do the gearbox in
  15. gfromleeds

    EAS Kicker

Really? How? it has no display! Or im I thinking of something else? Edit: just looked it up its the eas kicker light im thinking of but still a dam sight cheeper to get the eas cable and a old second hand laptop

Mmm interesting Ive been struggling with this for a long time (pressurises but not overheat) checked or replaced waterpump, rad, thermostat and had a "sniff test" on the expantion tank and all checks out ok New cap for me in the morning Wonder if the wifes mondeo one will fit (just to test of cause)
