Bloody hell! the price!! I have just now come back from North of the border and am now the proud owner of a late '95 300tdi 90" for £300 more than a set of seats! Oh yeah, it's only done 69k miles. That puts your seats in perspective for me.

I think for me it's more a case of somebody taking a 110 and replacing a poorly 200tdi with a 2.25 donk and even thinking that it would be more reliable! Then to find said 2.25 was bollixed now that's just unfortunate! At least the know-all down the pub had it right ' they go for fortunes now...

Do not forget insurance costs. This catches a lot of people out especially the under 25's.

Without being funny if you know nowt about them then I respectfully suggest you stay away from them, however if you must then chuck 4K (min.) at something and pray! Would a Freelander not be more suitable as a stepping stone?

I have a steering wheel cover thing on the 90 and need some more black plastic 'string' to wrap criss-cross round it. Can't seem to find the correct thing, not knowing the correct name doesn't help. Any aid gratefully received, thanks!

As for 'pushing the value of the proper ones up', they surely can't go up much more! Crazy prices on that well-known online auction site.

UKE 80 did have a non standard wider passenger seat for Churchill though in standard black vinyl not leather.
