i have done it to my defender...easy to do and at least a 70% increase in output on a defender fan.connected it up to a off-on-off carling switch using existing wiring behind dash and running thicker cables to fan...one via an in line resistor.Go for it

Spent a rainy afternoon finishing things up ready for mot on the 23rd... spent way too long tracing a brake light fault...or so I thought....turned out I'm a idiot and and a few months ago replaced the tail lights with 10w bulbs instead of 5w....(I have 4 reds on rear..2 tail and 2 stop/tail) so...
