what would a second hand lift kit be worth?

The Kit I have bought is from a company called Maltings - link below, the kit is not shown on the website, but is available from ebay, if you call them and ask for Luke, he knows exactly which kit it is. https://maltings4x4store.co.uk/

the ones that are on are Terrafirma, but found a full kit online with Armstrong shocks for 170, its going to cost at least 120 for springs, so thinking to bite the bullet and replace for the sake of an extra£50

I now have the suspension in bits, the shocks are like new, no issues what so ever. It is safe to replace the springs with standard ones and use the shocks that was on the 2in lift kit?

Thanks for you advice, this is a landy my wife bought as a "project" the plan is front and rear axle removal and refurb, all bushes, bearings, seals and ball joints to be changed, will change the brake lines too.

Hi, The shocks "look" to be OK, so if the shocks, are OK, is it perfectly OK to leave them on and just change the springs?

Hi, I am looking at taking off the 2inch lift kit, that was fitted to the Landy by the previous owner, and taking it back to stock. My question, do I just need to change shocks and springs, or do the turrets need replacing too? Regards Garry

HI Thanks for your comments, this a 90 just before defender and does have drum brakes, so Boost not an option with out changing the axle. Thank you for your comments just saved me a tonne of hassle. just need to find some wheels that will fit, not really feeling the wolf wheels

Drained out the brand new oil in the transfer box, changed rear output oil seal, only to find front one now leaking badly. So decided to rescue the new oil ready for another session under the Landy at the week end changing the front one grrrr

Hi, A friend of mine has been clearing out some old tools and given them to me. Neither of us know what they are. The are marked with Girling, so assume something to do with brakes. Any one know what they are?
