Ow do Fuse 5 in 't box under 't bonnet is the one. My FBH dunt work either. Fuse is ok tho. Any one know any common probs with t' feckin tings?:confused:

I did 1500ish miles in a week travelling to and around northern Scotland. Nowt broke and only filled it with fuel 3 times. Try that in a tratter.

As usual looks like main stealers trying to get their mits on more hard earned cash.

I've got an 02 TD4 an get bout 450 miles out of a tank full with short an long trips mixed in. Tend to keep speed below 80 as dont wont to push me luck and destroy ther bloomin thing....

I've got 17 inch wheels shod with Michelin Synchron 225/55/17 tyres. Give good ride quality and grip on road and over moderate loose stuff. Downside to 17 inchers though (apart from the £100+ each cost of the Michelins), is that there are only remould off road bias tyres available, and then...

I have an 02 TD4 and the ABS light stays on after start up until my road speed gets to about 5mph... Stays on for quite a while...:D

At what temperature should the FBH kick in? No mention of one even being fitted in handbook. Great. Is there any way of testing it?:confused:

Fuse 5 20amp on the under bonnet board and link no. 1.

Bit of a long shot (and quite late...) but could it just be the cover on the diagnostic socket?

:confused: I have a TD4 ESX with 225/55/17 tyres. Does anyone know of an all terrain or mud tyre available in this size? If not any ideas with regard to alternative sizes that will fit the rim, with similar/larger overall diameter? Wots the point of having a 4x4 (well Gaylander...) that...

Main thing is making sure they are at the same position on each side. Measure up from as many fixed points as poss when fixing templates. All in all its not a difficult job, the hardest part is having the b******s to make the initial cut into the expensive front bumper.........

:) Good news!!!!! The spot lights do fit. There is plenty of room behind the bumper, even with a pre-heater. The angle of the pods mean that they fit best at the extreme edges of the bumper, which is ideal as they miss the re-enforcing bar behind. Supplied switches will fit in the blanks on...

Don't see why they wouldn't fit. Wiring loom seems ok and they look ded gud when I sort of just hold them on the bumper..... Just hope there is room behind the bumper when I make that fatal cut into it

:confused: Just taken delivery of '04 spot lights (£13 off t' e-bay). I have got Monday off work in order to fit them (all being well). Will update as to any problems with fitting them to an '02. They WILL fit......

Don't know if you are still looking but try e-bay. Loads on there and cheap.

:confused: Will the spot light pods from '04 MY Freelanders fit pre face lift models? Don't mind a bit of fiddling to get there.....
