Same experience here, fitted them to front of 300tdi 110 and would say there was a noticeable reduction in metallic harshness from suspension and reduced sounds. A smoother drive. Was fitted 5 years ago and noticed few cracks in rubber and would certainly replace with same again

Got similar issues on a 300tdi. Believe they use same Lucas AS10 alarm/immobiliser? I replaced all door switches and didn't fix the fault. Also have alarm randomly starting. Read reports thats its dodgy solder points on the AS10 PCB. If good with a solder iron that should fix it or buy new PCB...
