fooked is the diagnosis i can provide, joints are fine but lets just say it refused to budge so it might have been grinded off in half ;).. and i couldn't apply heat in the area due to the braided brake and clutch lines lol

110% agreed here. But even still £200 deposit should be enough these days, I get it if you're buying some high end luxury car and holding it for two weeks.. but yeah. Check the business out, ask for a invoice for the deposit (and period of the hold), check it matches the business, pay by CREDIT...

rust rust rust. This one just looks like it's been living life by some salt water. I personally think this is too much rust for the money, it looks like it's been painted over.. you'll be spending another 6-9k to get it on a new chassis etc dependant on how bad it is. For that type of money...

Get a turbo shop to rebuild it, they will be able to throw a aftermarket actuator on also

Just look the other way, no issues ;)
