I'm nearing the stage of fitting these interior door cards and would like to know how people have attached them. The plastic fir tree clips seem like they might be the easiest way. Any advide greatly appreciated, thank you.

I know what you mean, you'd think people would want the business but they don't get back to you. I'm tempted to get an off the shelf trailer cover for now, before spending out on a bespoke design.

This is a job I did at the weekend. Hitting the end of the cap can dent it, instead use a block of wood and tap around the lip working your way round and eventually it lines up and gives a good friction fit.

Thank you dag019 I had another look tonight and lower down at about elbow height I've found a possible area to mount the reel. I'll post some pictures up if I get anywhere with it.

It looks like I'll need to find a bracket to fit the reel.

Do you know which carb you have. I had a Zenith copy in my 2.25 petrol and although it was fairly new, it caused the truck to run really badly.

Thanks Anaconda, Bilt Hamber do some great products. I soaked the thermostat housing and block in their crystals and it stripped off years of corrosion. I really like their clear wax stuff too. I'm not looking forward to getting underneath and treating the chassis, but it needs doing.
