I've recently had the same problem. Sealed all the heater box up. Changed the dodgy thermostat adjusted the cables and have now got it nice and toasty but just can't get the power out of the vents!!
Changed the thermostat for a new one and sealed up the gaps in the heater box. What a difference. Engine up to temp and a toasty warm cab!! Air flow from the dash is still a bit pants though!
Off the subject of twigs, does anyone know the best way to get this sheared screw out of the lever on top of the heater box, which grips the cable? It seems too fiddly to tap.
Checked for leaks on the heater and it seems ok. When activating the fan with the left hand lever, is the first click fan on? with the other two being fan speed? If so is the fan speed controlled by a flap?
I've just bought some foam to wedge between the fan and intake as there is thumb width gap all the way round. Will fit it in the morning to see if there is a difference in gust. When the heater was on the demister setting I did feel some air coming out of the footwells so that may need fettling.
Ended up outside last night doing stuff to the Landy!! Sorted the inch gap at the top of the passenger door with nothing but a block of wood and brute force! I then set about fixing the heater. Got it blowing hot air but the fan is pants so gotta look into getting more power out of it somehow...
I've had my leatherman since 2007 and it goes with me everywhere in some shape or form. Managed to get the leatherman case with the screw driver bits a few years back, so am now fazed by nothing!! Lol!!
Use to sell Jet Boils in an outdoor shop when they got popular. Used to be £40. For me it would have to be my Coleman multifuel stove or the Leatherman.
I've had a Logun Solo with multishot adaptor since they came out its as good to use as my mates s410 and was £200 to start off with, bit more since silencers, bipod on etc.
