    hi lift mounting

I have mine bolted on the outside because it's easy to get to. Proper cover over it to stop most of the sand and mud getting on it. I wouldn't fancy getting it off the roof in a precarious situation that would be irritating...or having too much weight up top. The suggestions inside the cab...

I'm doing Morocco in September / October :)

Or just drive from UK to the south of spain without stopping. Or sleep in car. Accommodation costs = zero :D

    Green laning in Sawtry, Peterborough

Nothing terribly interesting going on here. GOrdered a galvanised chassis for the other S2 (not the red one). Bolted a few bits back together on the RRC V8. Deciding where to go or 2014 in Red (thinking head to China). Anyone planning any local laning sessions? I have not been out in ages!

Sankey Wide Track "Expedition" Trailer Build

Thanks guys for the comments :) We got quite a few questions at the Overland Show about people thinking of doing something similar - good for them to see a home-brewed one in the flesh I suppose. Next trip for this trailer needs to be something a bit more extreme than parking up in a field! :)

    RRC 200tdi or series 3 200 di

Depends what the corrugations are like but i'd say 45/50MPH is about usual but it does seem the faster the better. It will feel a bit mental to get up to that speed as the shaking about will get will get worse and worse - but as soon as you reach the target speed it will become very apparent...

Hope it's all going good guys - not been laning for a while yet but been up to other bits and bobs. Anyone been out locally recently? My AT tyres are a bit erm, used up at the moment so might have to resrot to the MT set which I have never used!
