If your doors haven't been cut only cut the frame out and leave the skin where it is, once the frames cut to suit heat the skin around the bend and beat it round to meet the frame, that way there is no gaps, finish with a bit of seam sealer between the two and rivit together I'll stick a pic up...

Finally sorted, they sent me a replacement tyre after a lot of grief from me.

Well it does fit, the clamp needs to be fettled though.

How are the plastic c pillar trims held on on a 5 door?

Do the yellow tops fit in a disco 1 battery tray, or do I need to get the grinder out? Mine will be getting tubular wings at some point so the battery will have to move then but for the time being can I keep it secure in the standard position?

One for all of you that have hand painted your d1's, planning on repainting mine, how much paint did you use? I'll be painting it with a roller with 2k black, ideally I'd rather have some left over for touch ups in the future.

200tdi has no cat or egr unless it's an export model. Mine has no silencers and a short down swept pipe off the downpipe, it's not quiet but is bearable inside the car, mine has no sound deadening or carpets either, admittedly the tyres tend to drown out the exhaust though.

Is there a cv joint available off the shelf that'll allow me to use 24 spline shafts and diff with 10 spline drive flanges?

Yeah lions, one of the other reasons I went for them was the sidewall lugs and they look more aggressive than the special track 2's

Like I said mine aren't too bad but after less than 12 months I'm not impressed to say the least! The buldge appeared whilst at a pay and play, there was no damage to the outer of the tyre the scuffs occoured whilst getting to hard standing.

Mine aren't too bad but in my eyes after less than 12 months there shouldn't be any perishing, I'll stick some pics up in a min, once I've removed the buldged tyre I'll check it I'm expecting to see damage on the inside of the sidewall.
