disco axle is a straight swap, and one which i would strongly recommend. From what i have heard the salisbury needs a different prop (apparently a RR or disco front one is correct) and new spring cups, but otherwise goes on fine.

i think the seal patman is talking about is the Rear Crank Oil Seal. Make sure you fit it properly, unlike mine. It must go all the way in. If you can get hold of some strong adhesive type stuff to stick it in, even better. :) When i pulled my 300 out of the disco it took me about 3 hours...

what shifty means to say is SOME land rover tow bars are adjustable... :) If you build your trailer tall enough with big enough wheels, you will get away quite nicely by simply bolting a standard 2 bolt tow ball onto the rear crossmember, through those conveniently spaced pre drilled holes :)

the hazard system on landys is very complicated. If you are SURE the switch you have fitted is good, make sure its connected up right, and check the little connections either side of the switch. You got a wiring diagram for yours?

have you tried a new, good quality belt? Like a gator one or summat, it could be your old one has perished and gone hard so aint driving properly any more.
