EAS question rear rises on its own whilst driving.

If I wanted reliable (boring, dull etc) I'd buy a Honda.... then hang myself. This only gets used for towing the caravan and nowt else (at least until I've got lpg on it). Wife has the reliable car I want something interesting and this definitely fulfills that!!! Loving it so far for a 17 year...

EAS question rear rises on its own whilst driving.

Strange you mention that because it only happened after I took the van off the back and the suspension went right up because I left the door open. Is there a fix?

EAS question rear rises on its own whilst driving.

Hi As title really noticed it yesterday whilst towing the caravan, rear suspension rises stays up for a few seconds then drops back down. I had the lock out switched on so turned it off and that seemed to sort it for the journey home, however noticed it solo today so blows my just one of...

    Oil light question

I've come to the conclusion that my P38 4.6 has an oil pressure switch fault but I'd like to run the symptoms past the experts on here! Intermittently and with no pattern the oil light comes on. When it is on there is no additional engine noise, no rattles nothing. Sounds exactly the same as...

    2001 TD4 ES 5 door

Epsom green 5 door with full service history although it has done 216k. I have owned it 2 years (and only about 3k) and in that time have fitted 4 new m and s tyres, new vcu, new rear window cable, new rear shoes, handbrake cables and lever, wheel cylinders, new front pads, overhauled front...

    First big Project!

Axle stands will be more useful than wheel ramps as front suspension has to come off. Good jack or engine crane required as most of the bits you are taking off are heavy and prone to hurting you if you break their fall. Another pair of hands will be useful as well. To be honest not sure this is...

    Drop links & a/r bar bushes…

Good anti roll bar drop links are a tenner a price minimum so make your own judgement! I bought a set of links of eBay for £15 haven't even lasted 2000 miles.

Zero power when towing horse trailer?

Definitely something wrong if it struggles with that. My Td4 with 216k on it pulls a 1700kg twin axle caravan two adults two kids two dogs and a roofbox with few worries. Pulls most motorway inclines without a gear change. Might be just cos its nicely run in tho!
