    is there any point ?

i put one on my NA, it made it louder, and slower. I didn't really mind (my air box was falling apart) and went TDi, and put the K&N on this too. I then got a 200TDi air box, with a stock filter, and fitted that. Massively faster. And easier to change than the K&N was to clean too!

    Please help!!

Oh, and 12.50's or 285's will be ace on grass, even wet grass. Thick mud, snow, etc, you will find them wanting, i rekon. To prove - my mate has a 2 inch lifted 90 with the latest brand new BFG MT's, on a 265. My 90 is stock, with 235 MT/R's, and in terms or traction, i can get anywhere he...

    Please help!!

how about one from me? :D if the work side of things comes first, then seriously, spend the money on the BFG's, Wrangler MT/R's, etc. The really aggressive chunkies will make it a real pain in the arse to drive normally. If its green laning you are after, then massive tyres shouldn't be...

    90 Transfer gears & tyres

i have a 1.22 disco box on my 300 tdi 90, with 235/85's on. My 300tdi is well tired, and down on power and it pulls well above 60/70+ its just noisy. Performance wise, its great. Really wouldn't bother putting the old one back on, the 90 really goes well.

Discovery Owner asks Defender Boys a steering question PLEEZ.

when i bought my 90, the previous owners had screwed the track rod ends all the way in, so it was fully toed out. I have NEVER driven a car so hard to control as that, not even when my drop arm ball joint came loose... unbelievably unstable!

Discovery Owner asks Defender Boys a steering question PLEEZ.

right the hub on the drivers side has 2 holes, for LHD models. No fender that I know of should have TWO drag links, on the front - it would REALLY upset the linkage. A lot of hubs have 2 holes on though, to save on tooling. Ignore the forwardmost hole on the drivers hub. I hope this...

    Britpart Thrust Bearing

hell aye They fitted the same part to every defender, disco, RRC wit a diesel engine up until the TD5 came in! Should have one :) While your engine/box is out, reinforce your clutch fork. Its worth it, cos the ball can wear through otherwise, meaning the whole lot has to come out again :)
