    Replacing injector seals?

great site here to help you: www.discovery2.co.uk / TD5 Engine - Injector Seal Replacement I used an offset phillips headed srewdriver with on side ground flat to lever the injectors out. Use LR seals and washers.

    running problem

You shouldn't hear the pump running when your driving under normal conditions. Heard mine twice, once when the injector copper washers failed allowing air into fuel system and the other time was when the air bleed valve at the fuel filter "vanished", reataining air in the fuel system. Even then...

    Rear Air Spring Voss Connector

Push the screw connector up the air line out of the way and cut the air pipe directly behind the olive with a sharp blade. Slide off old connector and push pipe into air bag.

Are the buttons below the climate control supposed to light up?

It's moving the steering wheel that takes the time:)

what mileage are they good for?

Got mine with 60k on the clock, few months ago hit 240k. From the front had to replace: radiator, oil cooler (2), ECU, wiring loom, injector seals, clutch slave cylinder, starter motor bushes, clutch, wheel bearing (1 only), heater matrix, height sensors, air bags (lots), fuel pump, air beled...

    TD5 wastegate vacuum hose size?

I don't wish to be cheeky but as you have the hose, either measure it or call into your local car parts dealer with it and ask them to cut you a piece of the same diameter and length. I wish all my TD5 problems where ..................

    Service gone wrong TD5

I've had to remove the filter head to get one of the fuel pipes off, didn't bother with flushing just put it back on again, seems OK. Also had similar problem with oil rotor cap, long time ago but I drilled out the cap holes which allowed a long bolt to drop / screw in to the cap and then...

Direct the breather pipe into a catch tank and block off the hole in the air intake pipe (a wine cork fits but doesn't look OEM). If you are trying to get the engine to run on clean air you must do the EGR and stop oil vapour getting in.

    France

Thanks for the reply - really apprecite the advice, the AA and RAC route planners have me heading for 17470 Aulnay, just south of Niort. The old girl should be OK to get there (snacks and white wine for the journey), the D2 is fine and the youngest was eating a snail today so we're all set !!

    France

Heading for France again - how do you find lanes and tracks that are legal to drive in France? I'll be near Aulnay in August and if anybody knows any good, relatively easy lanes around there I would be grateful. I have read that if it doesn't say the lane is private then you're OK but that...

    TD5 engine types

Why have you bought a decat pipe if there wasn't one on there originally anyway? Get rid of it. My 10p engine (current value probably) has done 230k miles and is probably only just run in ! BTW - no cat or centre silencer on mine.

    Anyone help identify this please??

There's no need for a self destruct button on a D2

    TD5 Fuel Pressure problem

The best picture I've seen is on page 1 of this thread. It stiil doesn't show the air bleed valve in all its glory. When you remove the plastic valve from the air bleed connection pipe at the fuel filter there should be a membrane housing one the wider end which you can remove, similar to a...
