i know you can do this with a ser motor but I would be worried sticking it in a 300TDI? on a cold winters morning I would think it would be too thick and gloopy????

After renewing the rear breaking system I remembered I needed to grease the wheel bearings. Just finished stripping the hubs down and greasing the bearings and rebuilding. While I was under there emptied a can of stone chip on the chassis just for good measure :-)

dont supose you have a rev counter on that prima and can tell me what RPM your getting around 55mph ???

LOL, thats what I have (well ser3 box and overdrive) I was just looking for more speed for over taking and less RPM as it always feels like im pushing the engine at 55mph whats yours 88 or 109??

hi, thanks for the link. had a very quick scan and at the end it mentions the "W" terminal. so if my alty has a W connection couldnt i just connect the rev counter to that?? Thanks jj

I have been told from teh supplier... "only work with vehicles which have a standard clock pulse train" Now I need to see if the montego lump and a clock !!!

I have 240v hook up when at a camp site that lets you plug in. Then the on board charger tops up the aux battery (And the other half's electric blanket when the weather cools down LOL) . Most of everything else is 12v or Gas Get a gas cartridge cooker and a kettle, works for me :-)

Nothing today but fitted a 12v solar panel yesterday with a regulator. Not sure how well it will top up the aux battery but on special at Maplins at the mo at £39 (was about £70)

Hi, You have a very good point re just buying a 110. I had a 2.5 petrol 110 some time ago and it was a nice ride but I do like the simplicity of the 109, easy to work on, cheap parts etc. Plus I would have to sell the 109 to get a 110 (cant have 2 landys, well couldn't get away with owning 2)...
