Exatcly the same sa mine not mine doesnt produce any steam. Dont know whether its normal or not but hopping some made any mods to lower the operating temp before mine goes burn...

I could see the water flowing thru overflow tank so I dont think its a water pump. I saw you have HGF problem. yours is 1.8 or V6? How do you go with it?

UPDATES: drove about 50km on highway. the lower radiator pipe is cold maybe close to warm. any idea?

all of these mods are appicable to 1.8 K series. Anyone knows similar mods for KV6?

I notice my FL V6 the lower radiator pipe is much cooler compared to top and radiator fins. I did about 1 hour drive, start and stop but the lower radiator pipe still not hot well you can say its still cool. I know that FL thermostat lat to open but is this normal as I cannot really tell what...

actually I have talked to them in few occasion but they are more into 1.8 K not KV6. KV6 is used in Rover 75 so I was wondering whether they (race car) do something about the thermostat. I have search many Rover forum but no luck as they dont think there is something odd about the thermostat...

Does KV6 also used in race cars? If it does, what do they do with the thermostat? Its good if we can make a hole in thermostat to balance the coolant temp. I notice from cold to normal temp (the arrow in the middle), the coolant temp from bottom radiator is very still cold compared to top...

Do you think you can make 4mm hole on V6 thermostat? Anyone has spare KV6 thermostat?

I had the same problem but only happen from 3rd to 4th gear and when the engine still cold. so when it is still cold I use steptronic and change the gear manually after i let go the gas pedal just like when you driving manual car. it has been like that for a year now. hope you can find out...

Did you ever bang the rear seat? Happened to mine as I dropped the seat. There is nothing you can do but replece the seat belt and it is very hard to take off the seat cover to replace the belt. As it happened, I have or maybe the only one with 4 seat 5 doors freelander as there is no seat belt...

is this OBD2 program free? I do a search on the net and it comes up few of them.

Mine switch off when the engine switch off but mine is KV6. should it be keep running if the engine is hot? how do I check whether the sensor is ok. I know the sensor is ok because the fan will run if engine is running and hot unless there are two separate sensors.
