This is very easy. If you search for my tip and use a clamp to take the tension off the cable to finish the last part of the process you will be fine.

Hi, My Wife closed the rear tail gate on the freelander and the rear window dropped half way down, then when she pressed the button in the vehicle to close the window it dropped right down and now just makes a whirring noise when you try and close it. Anyone have any ideas what the fault...

I have to replace the upper shock mount bearing and the manual states discard the nuts that hold the strut to the hub and a couple of others in that area too.

Just reading the Landrover Rave manual and they always discard the nylon nuts and replace them with new ones. Is the really necessary as it can be hard to source nylon nuts at short notice. If you should really replace them is there a specific set of nuts that I could buy in advance that...
