ooohhhh....a runaway diesel!!!! Does it have a fuel cut off on the pump? After you get it shut down you should either find it or put one on.

I do think in terms of dollars and pounds...generally anything I see posted on here I double in my head. I am in the lowest insurance range in the country. Here it is based of age (Over 25 or under 25) , number of vehicles, number of points (I have 0) and marrital status. I pay over 800.00 (us)...

Going up sizes will also kill your gpm. I went from 215/75.R15 to 235/75.R15 and lost 6 mpg. in my truck. M/Ts are a good general all around tire, so is the Goodyear Wrangler is you like cheaper. I would not put Super Swampers on anything that is used as a daily driver; unless you had a second...

yeah.. title and v5 are the same. Here in some states older vehicles do not need a title, but Kentucky is not one of them. Without a title it cannot be put on the road. One thing that is throwing me on it is why she painted it if she is going to sell it unless it has something to hide. Some of...

If it is a conversion it is a damn fine job. I have seen septic style conversions on jeeps and you can always tell by the hole in the right side of the firewall:D I checked if we used 2wd land rovers and we do have some in our diplomatic service, would explain the LHD and why it is here now...

I think she is right about the ex-mil thing because of the blackout lights and radio brackets, but I don't think it is English ex-mil....maybe German??

I haven't found anything on the web about two wheel drives, but it sure looks like it is in the picture. If the RAF had 2wd why is it LHD? It must be something special...too bad there is no paperwork for it.

    Offroad Tyres

Narrow offers better traction and cleanout, but less float. For me when I am running mud I don't want to float, so narrow is my choice. The other thing is if you have wide tires and it snows you may just as well be driving a YUGO rather than a 4x4.
