If that is a no go put it up on jack stands and have somebody get it up to speed and then let off, while you try and pin point the noise. If you use somebody you don't like, like maybe somone from this forum! When they get it up to speed you can kick it off of the stands and call the insurance...

I don't know about the newer Jeeps, but I doubt it, I don't have any interest in anything later than 1985 for off road use. The new Jeeps are like new landrovers; cost too much to use as an off road vehicle. One of the nice things about the jeeps t-case is that they can be converted to twin...

Here in the U.S. landys are not 4x4, they are All Wheel Drive with high and low range. Jeeps are 4x4, and anything that does the whole move power from wheels that slip to wheels that grip have traction control.
