I fancy sticking a small 2m/70cm rig in my freelander but not sure what to do with switches. I don't mind losing the sunroof switch and tailgate window switch. That still leaves me with 2 front window switches and central locking switch to fit in...

Hi All, I have a strange noise coming from the front of my 2000 5 door. Noises are hard to describe but it almost sounds like low wind/whistly note with slight 'scrape' overtones. The noise stays constant in pitch and doesn't deviate with speed, cornering, gears, neutral, clutch in or out, but...

Don't think so, just grip tightly and feel for the end of the spark plug through the rubber and pull from there. AAND if you remove more that 1 at a time, mark them..

Nah, the flange needs flipping 180 degrees... it's the pre-2000 asymmetric 3 bolt mount that only fits 1 way round... Look at this other photo, the single hole on the right hand side of the flange needs to be at the bottom of the triangle, not the top....

If I had a welder, I would! I'm now in the 'no useable car' deadzone so hoping they can courier me a new one out..

Hi All, Was fitting my new cat and exhaust yesterday, spent a few minutes scratching my head as I offered up the middle section to the cat - turns out the flange bracket has been welded on upside down!

Today, Sat 14th Sep - Two lanes closed southbound on M6 between J7 and J6 (Aston Expressway), due to an overturned trailer. Avoid! No injuries reported.
