question for those who know. ok so got some colway AT's but 2 of 5 are punctured cracked etc so looking for new tyres. My tires i have now read r16 205 I am looking at some insa traction tracks that are 235/70R16 so how do they differ in size? cheers

Ok sounds good, im only doing the rear tomorrow morning as only have a few hours, but i think il cut a bit of pipe and sleeve the 4wd lever so it cant compress and go into 4wd etc

get a relay from anywhere halfords etc, wiring simple loads of diagrams on google, basically you have your main power wire going to the relay and the switch activates the relay sending the power to your lights or whatever.

sounds like the way to do it, il have a look in the light. what are you running then diff engine etc?

ok, Pretty sure there 10 spline because its the same car i took the 200tdi from, think there mostly 10 spline?

Putting disco diffs in the series 3, am i right in thinking if i just put the rear diff in and don't engage 4wd drive everythings will be alright? THANKS

leave the leaf springs on so that it still looks authentic but add coils? ridiculous Save the money that you would spend doin the above sell the series then buy a defender.

ahh just put one in mine standard box tyres everything, like you say rocket but mine screams at 40 you can do 50 but your ears feel like bleeding. so 60's fairly cruisable speed with the overdrive? what mpg you getting aswell ?

Looks straight like the mustache on the front aswell, are you running the same diffs with the 200tdi or you got an overdrive ?

which plug did you take out the one on the side or the one on the top ?

Drain it then refill through the side to correct level and keep the faith !

Also People with 200tdi's in series 3's whats the vibration like ? Mine is on new mounts and vibrates a fair bit at idle

Light only comes on if connected, is there anyway to test the oil pressure? its just had an oil change.

noo mines a lates series 3 and its a electrical, i just thought as its the 200tdi sender for both they might not be matched to the series guage?

Iv got my 200tdi in my s3 running now, and Two things are worrying me i connected the oil pressure wire from the 200tdi to the one on my S3 loom and now the oil pressure light stays on... Thing is i had this engine running in the disco with no lights on before it went in so what have i done...
