    How did you measure that? Most run if the mill multimeters can only measure up to 5A max As others have said a bad earth will put a lot of strain on an alternator

    Bit low for me, I have a witter adjustable one and never clipped the ground with it when it's on it's highest setting.

    Could have been a bit of both, it was the first landy clutch I had done and the last clutch I did of any kind prior to that was about 5 years previous. I thought you had to have the clips so that the release bearing stayed with the fork

    I did that in a discovery, thrashed the bearing in a week, didn't make that mistake again!

    The cheaper ones might not open with the door and may have separate lock mechanism so read the descriptions carefully. My mate got one and was well ****ed when he realised that you could only open the back door if you were outside.

    Could be the flexi bulging which prevents the rod from operating the clutch or the rod is slowly working its way through the clutch fork.

    If you play that at full volume then the amp would draw 66 amps plus whatever the stereo needs 5-10amps plus the rest of your electrics that are running. A serious load I would suggest a lower powered amp or just a good quality radio.

    spotlight wiring - where does stuff go?!

    If your spots are shutting out your radio then you have another problem that a switch won't fix. Add am extra earth from the bulkhead back to one of the earthing points on the chassis as it sounds like a bad earth to me. Does anything else dim or not work when you use your spots?
