I'm on the look out for some roof bars for my 90. They won't be used very often so don't want to go spending a fortune. I don't want to go down the galvanised roof rack route as I've nowhere to store it and don't want to have it fixed to the 90 all the time. What do you guys use/recommend

One thing i noticed on my Disco 1 and now my 90 is that the Glow Plug Indicator lamp on the dash stays on for x seconds but if you listen you can hear the relay under the bonnet 'click' off after a further possibly 10 seconds. I assume this is a standard thing? Is the indicator a set time but...

Sold it :( But got my scrapheap challenge (Bitsa) on the road, still a work in progress but its now my vehicle of choice :)

I have an 87 petrol V8 that now has a 200TDI engine, 4 seats instead of 2, not your straight forward 90 ;)

Eventually got it insured, with A-Plan, and not a bad price, £236 compared to Swintons £600+. Just have to get it on the road now :)

This may sound stupid but it seems to work. I think the batteries in my fob need replacing, I used to be able to lock/unlock the Disco form in the house (through the window) It doesn't always work now, if it doesn't, hold the key fob to my head, press the button and it works! Not sure if me head...

What make is the winch and bumper? What condition? and How much? Please :)

Thanks for posting this, i'm thinking of doing the same to my LR90, that has a TD5 bulkhead. Who gave you the supply/fit quote? That doesn't sound a bad price (assume its only fit the screen?)

Wired up spots and also a lights on alarm.....that was an interesting afternoon, it would seem when the 90 was converted form v8 to 200tdi and the bulkhead was replaced the guy doing the wiring was colour blind, well, lets just give him the benefit of the doubt :scratching_chin:

Yep, total bodge that, everyone knows the Black cable ties do a more professional job than the blue ones!

Excellent work chaps, when I get the 90 on the road i'll sign up as well. Just a thought but I pay for RAC cover for my vehicles, SWMBO's car and my motorbike, well, its me and SWMBO thats covered not so much the vehicle. If the RAC/AA had been called out for this incident would they have been...

Thinking of getting a roof rack, or roof bars preferably, for the 90. Due to not being able to get anything of length in the back of my 90 I thought about roof bars, or a rack at a push. They won't be used much so prefer bars for ease of storage. I assume they fit to the gutter and wonder what...

Would it help if you parked next to a high kerb? Thats the trick I used as a kid and 'borrowed' my brothers pushbike :D
