i agree - or phone a local independant landrover garage / technician and get them to do the work its only costing so much due to the main dealers - and i wouldnt have thought a V70r is a cheaper beast to get fixed - and not easy to find either - and its still a volvo estate whatever badge...

yep - mine did the same 2 weeks ago mine would unlock - but them said engine disabled etc etc the BECM had had enough - local indy landrover guy hooked it up to diagnostics, had to take the BECM out - send it off - get it repaired/fixed, returned, re- installed it - and it started...

think you will need to enter the emergency acces code try searching for that - EKA code

i agree with paddy the HK was good, and is still okay - but thats all better components around now, a £100 4x50w headunit with newer speakers will be better, cheaper, and easier to install

so EKA wont work, re sycnhing the key wont work local indy has come out and hooked it up - says becm is fooked, diagnostics wont even pick up half the info from the becm and is slow process the new codes that we inputed to it - its made no diff i think that the flat battery problems i had...

ive tried pressing the remote when next to os rear window - nothing remote lights up when pressed ive also tried doing 4 key turns before entereing code - as its a 2000 car will try it all again in the morn

rr p38 wont unlock with fob - so unlocked with key dash says engine immobilised, press remote or enter access code so ive got the access code and info on how to enter it - but still cant get no joy it says to lock it with key - okay then turn left no of times, then right next no, then...

people ive spoke to in teh car trade dont like the 4.6 cos its a bored out 4.0 and can therefore suffer more enigne problems cos the block is weaker they prefer to trade the 4.0 not sure you would really notice much difference Ive got a 4.0 - but it wasnt so much a concious effort to get...

i think you dont need cats for mot if its on LPG glad its better - but those tail pipes look a bit ropey - like a couple of scaffold tubes - but suppose in real life htey may look better
