    S3 109 improvements advice.

Thanks. I'm definitely looking into adding a servo. Perhaps I should reassess the gearing and soundproofing after the OD.

Hi John. Dont have a servo So I shall look into that. Have Free Wheelers. Although never sure which side of the fence to sit on using them. NRGSERV suggests not using them because the shafts won't get oiled. Or maybe I miss understood him. Looked at that kit whilst searching the threads last...

how much will insurance repair ?

Let's be honest. The garage is probably rubbing his hands together. He could replace the sill and the door and still quote cheaper than a headlight and wing repair for any modern car.

Hello again Boys and Girls. Buddy is back on the road I've searched for threads on improvements to be made regarding better gearing, braking and lower noise levels but threads seem to run out earlier with no real conclusion from the topic poster. Over the next few months I'd like to make...

What have you done to your Landie today.

Last few days… fitted cylinder head back on. Re spaced tappers after missing one (twice). Fitted new lift pump (crappy Britpart with its poxy adapter connections.) primed fuel system and then…… Took it for a drive and got home with out the need of a tow truck WOOOOHOOOO !!! Forgot how bloody...

Found a solution to diesel runaway.

I've used this stuff before with no issue, however if in a few days if you see a fireball over notts/derby, you'll know it didn't work and finally had enough.

Found a solution to diesel runaway.

Fitted new lift pump. Britpart but that's all Padcocks stock apparantly. Comes with its own bolts and adapter kit which didn't entirely fit Buddy so I had to improvise. Good bit is I've fitted some braided hose and can now see there are definitely no air bubbles in the fuel line. Just...

Found a solution to diesel runaway.

Anyone following this thread may like to know that as far as I can ascertain I don't think air was getting into the fuel system. After manually priming each time I couldn't work out why after a few minutes the engine would stall and need repriming. I think the lift pump needs replacing as the...
