Last few days… fitted cylinder head back on. Re spaced tappers after missing one (twice). Fitted new lift pump (crappy Britpart with its poxy adapter connections.) primed fuel system and then…… Took it for a drive and got home with out the need of a tow truck WOOOOHOOOO !!! Forgot how bloody...

I've used this stuff before with no issue, however if in a few days if you see a fireball over notts/derby, you'll know it didn't work and finally had enough.

Fitted new lift pump. Britpart but that's all Padcocks stock apparantly. Comes with its own bolts and adapter kit which didn't entirely fit Buddy so I had to improvise. Good bit is I've fitted some braided hose and can now see there are definitely no air bubbles in the fuel line. Just...

Anyone following this thread may like to know that as far as I can ascertain I don't think air was getting into the fuel system. After manually priming each time I couldn't work out why after a few minutes the engine would stall and need repriming. I think the lift pump needs replacing as the...

Hi Peeps Getting ready to put my cylinder head back on the 12J 2.5NA engine and hoping someone. An identify what these rubbers are for in the kit. I know the bottom left is for the oil filler cap but no idea what the 8 small, 1 large and 1 flat rubbers are for. Thanks
