I once stripped down an XJS and put that into many boxes. I also took pics of where everything went in stages of dismantlement. The guy at Jaguar was a very helpful and enthusiastic chap and helped me with regards to what was ok and what was on the list of 'worn'. Thinking about it...

Fitted a new gear lever and drove it to the mechanic to diagnose and repair the possible blown head gasket.
