has the axle been changed for an ex mod land rover axle??

hi all, when i was younger and dumb, i try'd to pull wheel spins in my 2.1/4 diesel with 750'16s in a carpark, result was a nasty bang, and every time i turned a corner the landy would judder. one of the teeth from the diff had blown a hole in the axle case. :o

not sure if anyone has said this but, couldnt you ask the farmer who owns the land if you could tidy the track up abit. ok maybe not tarmac but just fill in the pot holes. just a thought.

hi all, my mums freelander has started playing up, on tuesday she rang me up saying the clutch has stuck down and and wont come back up. anywho, got it home. asked how much a new clutch is in the garage..... not cheap. but iv been thinking is it the clutch. any advice would be grate, thanks.

no. i used the mk2 kit, that uses a 3bearing petrol flywheel and a 200tdi starter. alot easier to find.

the cooler i used ,i had from an auto jumble. i think is from a mini . iv managed to place it just infront of the rad.it works well, but had to get longer pipes. also, iv been told that a freelander oil fillter is a good replacement for the standerd one , coz if your at full articultion the...

hi mate i did this conversion about 3 years ago. got to say iv had my ups and downs with it. ups being able to cruise at 50mph, take her up to 70 if i wanted and i really cant remember the last time i put diesel in , its that good on juice!!. down side is that parts are getting harder to get...
