Try Llandovery , there's a little camp site , with toilet/shower block and its really 2mins away from Llandovery , also there are a good few pubs in the village. And it's about 1/2 hour-ish from the lane. Hope this helps

I use to have a freelander, head went at 40k, took it to SP*@%T Fit garage . Thay changed head gasket etc. Had a small leak from inlet manifold took it back, thay sorted it..... head went again, at 65k took it some where else , engine had k seal or rad weld in it . Not happy.

Moved from there to near swansea. I think iv seen you freelander about.

i had the same kinda problem when i was doing mine. turned out i had the rear spring on the wrong way round. try it, wot you got to lose..

it wont budge at all? does it move when the brakes are off and the haft shaft is out? if not....could be a seased wheel bearing. i miote be wrong ,just a guess.

well looks like iv got to take the fooker off now. i think its seized,as it sounds like its staining to engage. could be rusted up . how easy is it to lube/grease up?? thanks.

my landy has a prima engine with the 200 tdi starter . got in it today started it up (been standing for 2 weeks) left it for 2 mins just ticking over when it sounded as if the starter had decided to re-engauge. knocked it off and restarted it and it was fine. not sure where to start looking...
