ahh. you mean 300TDI dont you where the mount fouls the filter houing..

sorry for the ignorance, but why would you fit a series filter housing to a TDI? mines fine with the TDI filter housing?

it can more or less recoup the charge it used when starting straight away i.e. less than a mile, if its a good starter that is.

sounds about right to be honest it obviously depends on the size of both the alternator and the battery, but a "normal" car then yes thats about right

as the title really, 3/4 way through my build and i need to replace the locks so i can actually secure my land rover when its finished. and i have some new barrels but you need to be able to unlock it to pull the barrel out dont you? any help is appreciated and may be rewarded with photos :)

now then geezers, does anyone know if the two switches are in the same ball park in terms of the pressure that switches the light on? as ive got an adaptorp for the oil pressure guage which fits into the switch hole, but a TDI switch doesent fit in it and the 2.25d switch does, obviously ill...

firstly welcome, secondly, longer spring on drivers side. mine were equal sizes and so were the parabolics i replaced them with, but hey its land rovers tolerances for ya

ive never been a fan of the electric ones, never experienced them but they just dont really look very effective, sort of cheap looking.

i know that its illgal to sell now, but if you can get hold of some asbestos shoes, they are much more efficient and more hardwearing, dont squeal as much either, just make sure to wear a mask when dealing with them, and use brake cleaner to turn the dust into liquid.

theres not much point in having a much larger compressor housing than standard, as the engines can only take 18psi boost max, but what you want is a constant 18psi hence a second smaller turbo, plus the larger compressor would need more power to spool it up so you get more lag. the thng which...

im not far away from buxton at all, between there and bakewell, but i dont think i could make a trip as im working non stop either for my boss or on the farm or on the series 2. hopefuly some time will free up soon though
