    reduced engine performance

I've heard that they have been having alot of problems with newly fitted fuel filters on FL2 at the minute. I know that the FL2 dislikes fuel impurities, blocked fuel filter could be possible, or if you have codes for fuel pressure plausibility, could be something like the 10bar check valve...

    Vbox ???

Vbox? Never even heard of one Do they mean the SRS ECU? They can require changing after impacts. I guess its either that or they mean the impact sensors scattered around the car (2 inside front bumper)

Is there more than one version of the rave disk?

    super duper stereo (not)

It depends on the year. I'm not 100%, but i think the earlier ones didnt have DAB. Then 10MY, all High and Premium infotainment systems have DAB i think. Is there a button on your radio that says DAB? When you switch on the stereo, does the LCD splash screen say DAB on it?

    Freelander 3 mule spied

So Land Rover seperated their 2 brands. It used to be Range Rover was a model, within the Land Rover Franchise. Then they seperated it, to create a distinctive Range Rover line ; Evoque , RRS , RR. The idea being that LR would be the functional brand, with RR being the Poser's brand...

Difference in tyre wear front to back

Freelander 2, it isnt as critical. Although front and rear tyres tend to wear at the same rate on a Fl2. This means mismatched tyres dont tend to happen to often. I'm sure if it is an issue , it will become more prominent as the cars get older.

    Any good

Squeeling steering noise. Rear differential noise. They are all thats common to be honest. Both noticable on roadtest. Can find threads on both these issues on this forum tbh. Good cars though imho.

    manifold problem still going red

I havent checked them after driving. I do know for a fact that, whilst stationary with the bonnet open. If you rev the car at 3.5k+ rpm for a little while. The exhaut manifold with glow red. Its normally the pipes going into the pre-cat which do this.

Not sure, but maybe a new rear tailgate seal needed ?

I think with the slight panel misalignment, he is going to have some problems with windnoise.

    trailer dash light

CJB is your Central Junction Box. Its also known as PJB (Passenger Junction Box) or BCM (Body Control Module). It requires reconfiguring to tell it, its going towing electrics. This is requires as when you fit towing electrics to a FL2, you install a trailer module behind the n/s/r quarter...

    trailer dash light

If its a FL2. Then its done through CJB update, not a relay replacement. The CJB turns on the light on the ipk when it sense electrics connected. You know its correctly sensing if it disables the rear PDC and rear fog. The system wont detect if your using LED towing electrics, or if it...

    Speed Sensor Fault code

By speed sensor they mean ABS wheel speed sensor i guess? There should be 4 not 3, one on each hub. The ABS control module uses the n/s/f one for displayed IPK speed. If the IPK stopped displaying speed, it would be that one. The only way to know which sensor it is, would be through the...

    TD4 Fuel Problem

I'd just like try and clarify something. The fault ''Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor' should only flag for a high side pressure fault. If there is a fault with the low side of the system it will tend to inhibit high side faults and instead display the much seen 'Low side fuel pressure sensor...

    TD4 Fuel Problem

Check the connector first. Try the harness first, its a **** ton cheaper than the sensor. The harness is very easy to change and there is info in these forums as to how to do it. The bulletin your looking for is LTB00052

    Replacing diesel filter FL2

Yep. The Diesel is the lubricant for the pump :)

    Replacing diesel filter FL2

Thats a very crass way to do it though :P For the price of a bulb pump and a bit of rubber hose you can do it nicely :) Although you are correct , if you can get it running off the contents of a freshly filled fuel filter , it should self bleed before it cuts out. Hopefully :)

    Replacing diesel filter FL2

Doesnt matter if you pump it into the filter or suck it through the filter to be honest. It just needs the filter full and the fuel lines primed. This is because it wont self prime as there isnt a traditional fuel pump in the tank, just a sender. Definately wont start if you just change...
