His is a FL2, which routes the signal information from the PDC through the headunit, so it can mute the radio when it tones. FL1 uses seperate buzzers in the back, so changing the radio wouldnt affect PDC in FL1.

I am pretty sure ive seen the rear PDC fitted with an additional little buzzer when the standard factory headunit was replaced. Isnt looking into that an easier idea than fitting new sensors or a reverse camera?

Can i ask if your vehicles only started with this symptom of a characteristic after a dealer visit? Possibly after diagnostic work or recall action?

You dont actually have to disconnect anything more if you have FBH. The pump is on a little grooved bracket that just slots into the engine pump/filter housing. Easy as :) Except when its -20 in Romania apparently :)

A dealer can do nothing to give you discount. You need to get into contact with Land Rover Customer Services and complain politely and alot. It sounds like a manufacturing error with the gearbox and i would expect an autobox to last somewhere around the 120k point.

lp pump runs for about 20 seconds if you just turn the ignition on i think. Other than that it runs permanently. hissing from hp pump? You definately shouldnt be able to hear it over the engine noise.

Undo the 5 nuts in a ring and pull the assembly out. That will atleast get it off the vehicle.
