forgot to mention i allready had a stright through middle pipe on but it wouldnt take much to cut the silencer out and weld a piece of straight pipe in its place to make your full system straight through

thanks smithy,i bought preformed bends of ebay1x90 deg and 2x45deg(2 1/2"od pipe with 1.5mm wall),i used the flange of the old back box just left about an inch of existing pipe to weld to,with a polish from the grinder the new pipe fit straight over old,i had to adjust the bends slightly in...

standard height rear disco springs on the rear of a 90 will lift it 2",but standard height disco front springs on the front of a 90 will give standard height,theres a lot more weight in the back end of a disco

keep an eye on ebay and see what there fetching,you'd have probably been better selling a month or 2 ago,normally prices drop as summer gets nearer but then creep up again as winter approaches

made the finisher out of an old piece of checker plate i had in shed,used one of them large hole cutters,cut one hole then a smaller hole in middle of that

i used to have an 88 E reg 19j td,i put a disco 200tdi in and couldnt believe how much more powerfull and quiter it was. your engine might have had the fuel pump turned up that could be what the smoke is if its black
