I have a D1, with sideways fold down seats in the boot. I noticed the D2 has forward facing seats with 3 point belts. Can I fit these to a d1? If so, is there a suitable place to fix the top of the inertia belt? TVM, Newbie.

ebay sell "service kits" for Discos, all the filters etc. And get the Haynes! Every car I ever work on I get the Haynes (or Chilton if it's a Yank).

I am now the owner of a 97 Disco 300TDi, engine replaced a mere 22k ago. Drives beautifully, pretty solid (for a Landy!). Gave it a thorough clean on Saturday, and then took it out and got it cacked in mud! Yeehaw! :)

FYI I saw the Disco last night, VERY solid all round, new engine fitted by local Landy dealer (£3k?) 22k miles ago. Lots of money spent, oil/filters every 12 months, new alternator etc etc etc. I think it's worth a little extra for the condition it's in and the way it's been loved and spent...
