Hmmm sounds confusing ! Mine rather knocks at times from the front end even with all new suspension components Dunlop struts too !!! :/ All control arms / bushes changed So wonder if we have similar issues ...

+1 to saints post Deffo sounds like a jammed low range shift motor You can remove the 4 bolts that hold the motor on the casing and manually turn the shaft by hand to revert the car back into high range mode

Have you tried lowering your car to the bump stops and then taking it for a drive ? As this will position the suspension components differently and may so help you identify if any other parts of the suspension are at fault

Glad you got some good advice from the guys down there See they could of just given you a new gearbox if they wanted too ! My TD6 gearbox refurb from them cost me just over £2k ! You might just be lucky now, just some injector issues... Proper diagnostics should show you a proper fault...
