Try loosening other two mounts , you should then be able to move everything arround enough to change centre mount

You will find it on rave, it is under fluid pan mounted on front of auto box not sure which one there are several.

On mine I had an anti squeal shim move slightly and start rubbing on brake disc may be worth checking if pads have been done recently.

If I had known this trip out was on I would have come out with freelander and shamed the lot of you:D I am out on the plains next weekend see if I can dent my back box even more, would take it of but clamp is rusted on might get some heat on it at work . Might even just cut bloody thing off.

Yep great day, first time with freelander for me , was suprised where it went with no problems. It did ground out a few times sounded bad but no damage except a dent in the exhaust back box. Thankyou for letting me tag along. Whens the next one ?

The centre mount on the front of rear diff is a fairly common problem area. If you can get under have a good push/pull up and down if rubber gone diff will try and rotate. Changed mine today took about 20 mins. Cost me about £15 from dealer you can get cheaper on line if you want to wait for...
