I have a leak from around the water pump sort of area lol. No sign of damaged hoses hence why asked if pump could fail with no signs of play. I have a spare in the box of bits so will swap it out. I know its over 5 years old so at least its one less thing to fail in the snow lol.

Visually checked when belt on, on play, physically checked when stopped with belt on and off, no play.

Probably random question, but is it possible for a water pump to fail and there not be any play in the pulley?
