Currently use Admiral multi car and insure a 2004 D2, 2014 Mini Cooper, 2014 BMW 125 & a 57 plate clio for £1100.
Didn't think this was too bad as the clio and BM are driven by drivers under 25 with minimal no claims.
Ref point 3 you can use Expanded Polystyrene bonded to 4mm wpb plywood.
I did this on my old truck and covered the plywood with a cheap needlepunch carpet. Cut down the noise and condensation!
Are you still looking for a truck cab, if so I am looking for to convert mine to a hard top. I dont have the tail gate but happy to come to some agreement.
Cheers Andy
I have a set of cooper STT 255/70/16 that I took off another motor which have only done 1000 miles. Would the 2.5 NA engine cope with these or should I sell and buy smaller?
I know a 115 mm will cut the chassis but is the diameter of the blade sufficient to reach all around the chassis or will I need a 9" bladed disc cutter?
Just about to replace my crossmember on the 90 and have removed the floor to get better access.... One question, will a 115mm grinder be large enough to cut through the chassis or do I need a larger cutter?
Just thought I would say thanks for a great forum which has provided much needed technical advice. I have owned several LR's and currently drive a D2 whilst rebuilding a 1984 Defender. I will start a "my rebuild" thread as I progress.
