    My Chassis Repairs for MOT

So, after the depression and anguish wondering what I was going to do having failed the MOT for rear end chassis rail rot close to the tow bar mounts, I decided to repair it. Inside flood

Just to add my 2 pennies worth, I'm doing this job right now. There is no doubt that the problem is due to the failure of the glass panel frame to roof seal. Hello all, My name is Clifford; Cliff if you like. I have a 2000 Discovery Series II 2.5 Td5 GS7 Limited Edition. Unfortunately, it has the rotting chassis rear end problem and has failed it's MOT. The cost of getting this repaired doesn't make much sense economically, but I'm loath to let an...

finished welding my chassis for MOT

Fack me, I've got nothing like the rust problem yours had and I was told to forget it and scrap and sell for parts! Well, I think I'll weld mine myself and get the girl back on the road. All hinges on you getting an MOT pass really doesn't it? Let us know.
