I would imagine its because the sony headunit doesn't have 6 outputs you might have to make a choice over the rear boot speakers and the door speakers,is your an es or xs model? I didn't know 300s had them in the rear doors!

No he won't have tweeters as standard in a disco 1. You need to get tweeters from maplins and you need one crossover per side, I have 4 speakers, 4 tweeters, 4 crossovers in mine, one of each at each corner mate
the door locking pins which connect the lock is self,the central locking motor and the door pin ,are joined to the lock part by a rod,this stretches over time , it can be adjusted,look around on here theres a how to!
remove your spare wheel,pop the cap up on the arm,and see if you can move the arm with no resistance,if so,most likely the splines,if not,then its probably a worn motor, either way,new motor atleast and maybe a wiper arm.

before you do anything, slacken the nut on your tensioner arm (15mm) slide it forwards a little bit,put a 1 pence piece behind it on the left hand side (as your looking at it)then retighten,see if that shuts it up!

nip down halfrauds,15 quid for a set of ripspeed (dont laugh,im serious!) speakers that fit the front doors,they can handle up to 65rms and are kevlar coned, then go to maplins and pick up a set of tweeters and crossovers for another 15 quid and boom,perfect front setup.
