Yeah first thing I checked mate, it is definitely the window regulator motor not sending the window shut signal to the CCU so will be repairing that as soon as I have the MOT done, Cheers.

The way to prove or disprove that it is fuel running back to the tank would be to park nose down on a steep hill and see if it starts ok, this always worked on citroen hdi's when they had this problem.:scratching_chin:

Hi mate, try advancing the pump timing it's quick to do just 2 bolts on the pulley if I remember correctly, the pump belt may have been put on incorrectly at any point in it's life, The cam belt would still have been lined up correctly so wouldn't show up. I wouldn't recommend reving the engine...
