Done and done. Made sure when purchased had four of the same tyre/same tread. Was going to remove prop, but someone mentioned the one wheel up test. Did that and all fine, so quite chuffed with myself, as seem to have bought a gud un.

I agree, think that's what it will be. Just never noticed it on a car before. Especially one with a 2.5V6 largish engine. Just after reassurance that its "normal" and not something to be worried about.

Don't know if I'm being overly sensitive, but the Freelander seems to fluctuate at idle ever so slightly. The rev counter does not move, and only really noticeable if left in drive with the air con on. If in N, with no "drain" then seems fine. Don't think it surging from 800 to 100 rpm, its...

I believe they make a clicking sound when working, and non are clicking. That made me think ECU connector, but equally they could all be shot
