What tool did you use to cut the bolt heads off? Mine are rounded off so I need to somehow cut them off. As you say, not much room.

Hi, are front and rear brake circuits independent of each other? I've cut rear pipes off to replace them but need to drive car a short distance to a better work area. I'm hoping front brakes and handbrake will be still working? 2003 TD4

Are the four lines from the ABS modulator to the wheels all SAE fittings or are some of them DIN fittings? I only have an SAE flaring tool. Don't want to buy a DIN flaring tool if I don't need one. Cheers. Great thread BTW

I managed to get the bleed nipple out. I read some of the threads on here and got a few tips. I removed the caliper. Lightly hammered a drill bit into the bleed nipple to stop it from crushing. Clamped the nipple tight in a vice. Soaked it again in WD40 and gently worked the caliper back and...
