Sounds like my 110 should be very capable then! :) and as for fitting 285`s, the amount of mixed opinions I hear about them is flippin ridiculous-some say they are fine and don`t rub as standard, some say you need to lift the landy for them to be oksome say you need spacers, some say you don`t...

Fair point, but logically if I went offroading a standard 110 could go places that I couldn`t due to having less ground clerance. 285`s should give me a bit more clearance though shouldn`t they?

So far it`s had (in less than a year): 3 new locks, 3 new door seals, recon discovery 200tdi engine, front and rear acoustic matting, new rear door, anti theft stuff, pioneering tools and mounts, towing pintle, full service, jack, loads of painting, gearbox oil-nowonder I`m always broke haha!

Just triple checked and they are definitely two different sizes, why would the army have fitted a different size to hold the spare on? If I bought two 27mm bolts it should be easy to replace the ones on the spare wouldn`t it?

That makes sense now, someone has clearly used a different size bolt/nut to hold the spare on. Will this have ruined the thread if its supposed to be 27mm? The wheel brace I bought is 27mm

I thought it was rear wheel drive until you locked the diffs? One of mine is cracking quite a lot too

Nuts holding on the spare are 27mm, wheel nuts are 25mm (but it is difficult to get exact measurements). Thanks
